CrossFit series at Life Church

I'm very excited about this new series of messages! It's actually more than just messages, it's a 5 week Faith Fitness Challenge! Every day we will post the "Workout of Day" that will challenge us to "Take up our Cross" and "Follow Jesus" by putting Action to our Faith! Let's do this!

Workout of the Day: 5.22.13

Review Colossians 3:2-3- Continue memorizing it. What are you setting your mind on? 

Go to http://lifechurch.org/#/outreach and ask God how He wants you to help our neighbors in Moore, OK. Continue to pray for the missing, survivors, families and rescue workers that are walking through this tragedy. 

Fast something today. Deny yourself of something (food, coffee, TV, media etc…). Substitute the fasted thing by focusing on God. If you are new to fasting, skipping a meal and spending that time with Jesus is a great way to start. (Fasting Guide at www.lifechurch.org/#/events/crossfit )

Workout of the Day: 5.20.13

Memorize Colossians 3:2-3- Share with someone what it means to you and how you plan to apply it to your life. 

Spend 10 minutes in silence (no speaking, music, gadgets, other people, etc…) and listen to the Holy Spirit.

Consciously ask God to lead you in every decision and action today.

Set some money aside in an envelope. Pray about it, and ask the Lord for an amount. You will find out what to do with it later.
(You can double up if you want to since we missed last week.)

Pray for our governing officials whether you agree with them or not.

Review Proverbs 11:24-25- What are you doing to apply it to your life?

Search www.lifechurch.org/outreach/short-term-trips Pray about going on a mission trip or giving towards a trip. If you feel led to pursue a trip tell someone and email international@getlife.info for more info.

Schedule a time on your calendar for you to spend 30 minutes in prayer in the Olathe Campus 24/7 Prayer Room.
